Jennifer Ochstein has published book reviews at Brevity (Townie, Another Insane Devotion, Thinking In Numbers, Bad Feminist, and An Abbreviated Life) and the River Teeth blog (The Fifth Season and The Art of Voids) as well as essays with The Cresset, Connotation Press, The Lindenwood Review, Evening Street Review, Episcopal Cafe, and Hippocampus Magazine. Her essay, “Prayer Walk,” was nominated for a Pushcart Prize in 2012. She was an arts writer for Hothouse Magazine and Newfound Journal. She’s also at work on a memoir. She earned an MA in English Studies and Communication from Valparaiso University in 2009 and an MFA in Creative Writing from Ashland University in 2012.
